The incident had caused a bottleneck of restless passengers who waited anxiously to be transported from the main terminal to the satellite building.
Shuttle buses were despatched to ferry the passengers to their boarding gate. Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) operation services senior general manager Datuk Azmi Murad said the situation had returned to normal after the trains resumed services yesterday morning.
It was reported the Aerotrains had failed to operate on Saturday night due to “a small problem” that was not explained.
