Firefly's new route from Kota Bharu to Langkawi Island

KOTA BHARU: As part of their domestic expansion, Firefly Airlines is adding one new route from Kota Bharu to Langkawi Island commencing 27 October 2015 to meet with demand as its secondary hub in Kota Bharu continues to grow. 

The new route will use the 72-seater, single-class ATR 72-500/600 turbo prop plane and will operate three times weekly, namely every Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. 

Introductory fares are available until sold out and would start from just MYR58.00 for one-way travel.

Firefly Airlines is a subsidiary of Malaysia Airlines and flies to 17 destinations within Malaysia plus international routes to Indonesia, Thailand, and Singapore. Kuala Lumpur Subang Airport is their main hub, while Penang, Kota Bharu, and Johor Bahru airports are secondary hubs. 

Kota Bharu Airport is the main gateway into Kelantan state, Perhentian and Redang islands, Southern Thailand (especially Narathiwat province), and northern part of Terengganu state, Malaysia.
