Gadang and Bukit Jerneh Get RM291 Million Contract From MAHB
KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 12 (Bernama) -- Gadang Holdings Bhd's subsidiary Gadang Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd and its joint venture partner Bukit Jerneh Quarry Sdn Bhd have secured a contract worth RM291.18 million from Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB).
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia Tuesday, the group said the contract included work under the proposed development of the new Low-Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) and associated works at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).
The contract, awarded on a 70:30 proportion to Gadang and Bukit Jerneh Quarry, is expected to be completed on Dec 18, 2010.
Gadang said the contract was expected to give a positive impact on the group's earning and net asset for the financial year ending May 31, 2010, and 2011.
